AgoraDesk is a peer-to-peer cryptocurrency trading platform. We connect buyers and sellers of Bitcoin and Monero directly, without intermediaries. You set your price, choose your payment method, and trade on your terms.
Yes. AgoraDesk operates in 64+ countries. As long as you have internet access and a crypto wallet, you can trade. Some local payment methods may vary by region.
You can trade Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), XRP, BNB, Solana (SOL), TRON (TRX), Zcash (ZEC), and Monero (XMR). The marketplace shows live USD-based rates for each coin so offers stay easy to compare.
Offer prices are based on the current market price of the selected cryptocurrency, plus or minus the trader's chosen premium. The final price can vary between offers depending on the trader and payment method.
No. AgoraDesk does not require platform-wide KYC. No ID, selfie, or proof of address is required to use the marketplace, although individual traders may have their own verification requirements.
AgoraDesk is a peer-to-peer marketplace, not a place to store your crypto. Keep your funds in your own wallet and only move the amount needed for a trade when you're ready to trade.
You browse offers on the marketplace, pick one that matches your price and payment method, and start a trade. The seller's crypto is locked in multisig escrow. You send fiat payment. The seller confirms receipt and releases the crypto to your wallet. Done.
Not yet. The AgoraDesk mobile app is currently in development. For now, you can use AgoraDesk from the desktop app.
Most trades complete within 5–15 minutes once both parties are online. Bank transfers may take longer depending on your bank. The average settlement time across all trades is 11 minutes.
Some methods settle instantly but carry more chargeback or fraud risk. Traders may charge a higher premium for PayPal or gift cards, while bank transfers and cash trades often have tighter pricing.
There are no fees for buyers. Sellers pay a small fee per completed trade — typically around 0.5% to 1% depending on volume. There are no hidden charges, no subscription, and no deposit fees.
Use the account recovery options on the login screen. If you have an active trade, contact support using the email linked to your account and provide the trade ID so the team can help verify and resolve the issue.
Absolutely. As a seller, you set your own price, minimum and maximum trade amounts, and accepted payment methods. Buyers see your offer and can start a trade instantly.
You can cancel before payment is sent. After payment is marked as sent, cancellation should only happen if both sides agree or support confirms it is safe. This protects buyers from losing funds and sellers from false claims.
All trades use 2-of-3 multisig escrow. The buyer, seller, and AgoraDesk each hold one key. Funds can only move when at least two parties sign. This means neither party can run off with the crypto.
Keep receipts, screenshots, transaction references, sender names, timestamps, and the exact amount paid. If a dispute happens, clear proof helps support resolve the case faster.
If buyer and seller can't agree, either party can open a dispute. A human arbiter reviews the evidence — chat logs, payment proof, and on-chain data — and makes a binding decision. Our dispute rate is just 0.8%.
Each offer has its own limits set by the trader. Limits depend on coin liquidity, payment method, trader reputation, and how much crypto the seller is ready to lock in escrow.
No. We never hold your private keys or your funds. Your crypto stays in your wallet until you choose to lock it in escrow for a specific trade. We cannot freeze, seize, or access your funds at any time.
Yes. Build a strong rating, keep offers funded, respond quickly, and set clear terms. Consistent completion rates and fair pricing help your offers rank better and attract repeat buyers.
Yes. All trader-to-trader messages are end-to-end encrypted. We cannot read them, store them in plaintext, or hand them over to anyone. Your conversations stay between you and your counterparty.
The buyer sends fiat directly to your bank account, Revolut, or whatever method you specified. AgoraDesk never touches your fiat — it goes straight from buyer to seller through the payment provider.
Never release crypto until you've confirmed payment in your account. If a buyer falsely claims payment, open a dispute. The arbiter will require proof of payment (bank receipt, screenshot) before making a decision.
Sign up with just an email and password. No verification required. You'll get a confirmation email, then you can immediately browse offers and start trading.
Complete trades successfully, respond quickly to messages, and never cancel trades without reason. Your rating is based on feedback from your trading partners and your completion rate. Higher ratings mean more buyers trust you.
Yes. You can delete your account at any time from your profile settings. All your data is permanently removed. Make sure to withdraw any pending funds before deletion.
